I received my PhD from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University under supervision of Dr. Yue Wang. I was a Maryland Robotics Center (MRC) postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Dr. Cornelia Fermüller, Prof. Yiannis Aloimonos, Prof. Miao Yu and Prof. Yang Tao. My research interest is to enhance the functionality of the human-robot interactions by integrating computer vision and control algorithms. During my postdoc, I worked on the modeling biotac sensors for doing complex manipulation tasks. In my PhD studies, I focused on the design and implementation of trust-based human-in-the-loop controllers for collaborative assembly tasks.
