I received my PhD from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University under supervision of Dr. Yue Wang. I am a Maryland Robotics Center (MRC) postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Dr. Cornelia Fermüller, Prof. Yiannis Aloimonos, Prof. Miao Yu and Prof. Yang Tao. My research goal is to enhance the functionality of the human-robot interactions by integrating computer vision and control algorithms. Currently, I am working on the design and implementation of a modular framework for complex manipulation tasks from the domain of everyday living such as picking and placing, and opening and closing objects. The goal of my research is to enhance the functionality of the human-robot interactions by integrating computer vision and control algorithms. In my PhD studies, I focused on the design and implementation of trust-based human-in-the-loop controllers for collaborative assembly tasks.
